St. Martin's Animal Foundation

Title: Animal Angels

Location: Northridge, CA United States

About Me:

It is our vision to put an end to the illegal bloodsport of dog fighting, and to provide a safe haven and sanctuary for the rehabilitation and safeguard of these abused and neglected dogs that have been used in these horrific fights. It is our mission to lead an agressive educational campaign, reaching to those communities that continue to be terrorized by gang activity, such as dog fighting. We hope to expose the brutal reality behind these illegal gambling rings and their negative impact on our society, especially our children.

“THE PASSION OF THE PIT”, is our ongoing campaign that will serve as the first major step towards bringing an end to dog fighting rings in the inner city communities of Los Angeles. Furthermore, we hope that this campaign will bring attention to the ongoing rescue efforts being conducted by the St. Martin’s Animal Foundation and the need for immediate financial pledges of support. The campaign also serves to educate the community about the dangers posed by dog fighting rings, and we hope to rally efforts to put pressure on local law enforcement agencies and municipalities to enforce the laws that define dog fighting as a felony-a crime punishable by serving time in prison. Furthermore, we hope that this campaign will have an impact on stopping “backyard breeding,” a practice that is responsible for the pet overpopulation, specifically that of the “bullish breeds,” such as Pit Bulls.

Bless the beasts & children
